Join TriWest's Network of Health Care Providers
Thank you for reaching out to TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TriWest) to start the process of becoming a network provider.
TriWest was awarded a five-year contract by the Department of Veterans Affairs to administer the Veterans Affairs (VA) Patient-Centered Community Care (PC3) program in all or portions of 28 states (AL, AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MS, MO, MT, NV, NM, OH, OK, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA, and WV). The PC3 program ensures Veterans will receive timely, convenient, coordinated, high-quality care in their community by allowing VA to make referrals through TriWest to a network of primary and specialty care providers. Under the PC3 program, TriWest will process the referrals, schedule appointments, track medical documentation, and pay claims on behalf of VA and Veterans.
As you are likely aware, recent media reports have revealed unfortunate backlogs and wait times for some Veterans seeking services from VA medical facilities. TriWest is honored to help deliver both primary and specialty care and reduce any delays in care which may have been experienced by the Veteran community. TriWest is privileged to partner with you to care for America’s Veterans and we look forward to serving those who have recently served, as well as those who have preceded them.
We appreciate you taking the time to complete the online network provider application. If you have any questions about the application, please feel free to contact Provider Services Contracting at 1-866-284-3743 or email@example.com.
Thank you for your willingness to support and care for America’s military Veterans!

Register to Provide Choice Card Care to Veterans
The Veterans Choice Program (VCP) is the most recent addition to the PC3 program. This program allows eligible Veterans to seek care from community providers if they face wait times longer than 30 days for care from a VA provider, or the closest VA medical facility is greater than 40 miles from their home. The VCP provides eligible Veterans with a Veterans Choice Card to enhance access to primary care, inpatient and outpatient specialty services, and behavioral health care. To confirm your interest in serving our nation’s Veterans under the VCP, please review the “Terms and Conditions” and complete the registration form which allows TriWest to list you in a directory of providers who have expressed a willingness to treat Veterans using the Veterans Choice Program. If you have any questions about the VCP registration, feel free to contact our Choice line at 1-866-606-8198 and select option 2.
